Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienmanagement GmbH has reinforced its leadership team with two strategic personnel appointments. As of 1 November 2026, Melanie Borkenhagen will take over the management of the Frankfurt branch. Carsten Siepmann has already been responsible for a newly created position as Head of Technical Management since 1 September 2026. These appointments underscore the focus on the continuous development of service offerings and locations.
Melanie Borkenhagen follows Rebekka Rauen in Frankfurt, who is leaving Tattersall Lorenz. Ms Rauen had been with the company since January 2019 and, as a long-standing branch manager, significantly shaped the development and expansion of the Frankfurt location. Her work was appreciated by both clients and internally within the company. With Melanie Borkenhagen, Tattersall Lorenz gains a proven real estate expert for the further strategic direction of the branch.
Ms Borkenhagen is an architect (AKH) and a graduate engineer (FH) with over 17 years of professional and management experience in the real estate industry. From 2022 to 2026, she worked as Team Head Technical Asset Management & Steering Property Management at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, where she was responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of these areas. Previously, Ms Borkenhagen gained extensive experience in project development and project management, including as owner of a project development office in the Rhine-Main region for approximately ten years. From 2020 to 2022, she also served as Director Team Lead Project Management at CORESTATE Capital Advisors. Her combination of technical real estate expertise, leadership experience, and comprehensive knowledge of complex real estate projects provides a solid foundation for the continued development of the Frankfurt location.
Susanne Tattersall, Managing Partner of Tattersall Lorenz, commented on the new appointment for Frankfurt management. She highlighted that Melanie Borkenhagen is an experienced leader who combines technical expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and many years of management experience. She will therefore provide important impetus for the further development of the Frankfurt location.
By establishing the position of Head of Technical Management, Tattersall Lorenz is strengthening the technical leadership in the area of technical property management and specifically promoting the strategic development of this key service sector. Carsten Siepmann, who has taken on this role, brings many years of experience from the real estate and facility management industry. His previous professional positions include ENGIE Deutschland GmbH, where he acted as Head of Technical Building Management and led approximately 50 employees.
Mr Siepmann's professional focus areas include the economic and qualitative management of complex real estate portfolios, as well as sales and the development of client and business relationships. His work primarily focuses on the Düsseldorf branch, where he holds overall technical responsibility for the managed real estate portfolio and helps shape the strategic development of technical property and project management. His tasks centre on the long-term development of properties, the efficient management of maintenance and development measures, and the closer integration of technical and commercial requirements.
Marian Serr, COO of Tattersall Lorenz, emphasised the increasing demands on technical real estate management. He stated that Carsten Siepmann is a proven expert who combines technical expertise, economic thinking, and comprehensive leadership experience. He will play a central role in the further development of technical property management and the stronger alignment of services with the requirements of clients and the market.
