The current, tenth round of the dream home raffle offers the opportunity to acquire a thatch-roofed house in a bay between Kiel and Fehmarn. The total value of this property amounts to 2.1 million EUR. In addition to the main prize, 50,000 EUR will be distributed. A significant share of the proceeds from this campaign is earmarked for the main charity partner, "Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e. V.". This initiative combines the chance of owning an exclusive property with charitable commitment.
The thatch-roofed house, built from red brick, is situated on an expansive plot offering unobstructed views of the Baltic Sea. Access to the beach and harbour is available within five minutes. The living area of the house spans 148 square metres. Inside, the design combines a modern Japandi aesthetic with Frisian exterior architecture. Warm natural tones, clean lines, and black accents characterise the interior. The premises include three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-plan living and dining area integrating a designer kitchen.
A reading nook with a daybed and a sanarium complement the available space, offering options for relaxation and retreat. The bespoke designer kitchen is equipped with a ceramic worktop, a Bora hob, an espresso machine, and a KitchenAid. The outdoor area features a generous terrace with various seating options, a garden pavilion, and a long dining table. A Big Green Egg completes the outdoor culinary set-up, always accompanied by sea views.
Every purchase of a ticket for the dream home raffle also serves a charitable purpose. "Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e. V." acts as the main charity partner for the tenth round of the raffle. This organisation has been committed to disadvantaged children for more than three decades. The funds generated benefit projects dedicated to combating poverty and exclusion, as well as promoting improved educational and future opportunities for children in Germany.
Wolfram Kons, Chairman of "Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e. V.", emphasised the importance of a safe and secure home for children, which for many in Germany is not a given. The partnership with the dream home raffle not only offers participants the chance to win a dream home but also to provide hope and support to children in need. Luisa Haxel, Managing Director of Traumhausverlosung, commented that the tenth raffle represents a special moment, as it presents an excellent thatch-roofed house and continues the collaboration with Stiftung RTL. This creates double added value: the prospect of a unique dream home and tangible help for families in need.
