The real estate company Aroundtown has extended two existing lease agreements for office space in Frankfurt am Main on a long-term basis. The agreements cover a total area of approximately 2,200 square metres and concern two properties in the established Lyoner Quartier. The continuation of the lease agreements was agreed with SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria and ANGERMEIER INGENIEURE.
At Campus Carré, located at Lyoner Straße 25, Rhonestraße 7 and Herriotstraße 8, SPIE Germany Switzerland Austria is continuing its lease. This company is known as a leading multi-technical service provider for buildings, facilities and infrastructures. The extension underscores the attractiveness of the location for established companies from the service sector.
Similarly, ANGERMEIER INGENIEURE, a long-standing tenant, remains at the location in the SIGMA office building at Lyoner Straße 20. The company is one of the leading players in engineering surveying in Germany and Europe. The retention of such tenants is an indication of the location's quality and the conditions offered.
Markus Brehm, Regional Director Central/South at Aroundtown, expressed his pleasure at the tenants' renewed decisions for the locations. He emphasised that long-term lease agreements are based on a relationship of trust. This statement highlights the importance of stable partnerships in the real estate segment.
Location advantages and sustainability aspects
The Lyoner Quartier in Frankfurt-Niederrad is characterised by its strategic location between Frankfurt city centre and the airport. This provides excellent transport links. The established corporate structure in this area contributes to the attractiveness of the location. Both properties, Campus Carré and SIGMA, offer modern, flexible office spaces that meet the requirements for long-term location decisions.
Another relevant aspect is the sustainability certification of the SIGMA building. This was recently awarded a “Very Good” rating as part of the BREEAM recertification. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) has been an internationally leading certification system for assessing the sustainability of properties since 1990. Aroundtown pursues a consistent strategy for the BREEAM certification of its properties; approximately 80 per cent of its office portfolio is already certified accordingly. Aroundtown is one of the largest real estate companies in Europe and has a diversified portfolio, which includes office and residential properties as well as various hotel locations.
