Bonava, a project developer operating nationwide, has initiated the initial sales phase for the Petersbogen residential quarter in Düren-Nord. In this first segment of the marketing process, seven terraced houses are available for purchase. The overall project involves the development of 53 terraced houses and semi-detached houses on the designated site.
The planned residential units each feature two full storeys and a converted attic. Depending on the specific house type, the units offer four to five rooms with living areas ranging from approximately 105 to 125 square metres. Additionally, each unit includes its own garden area. The intended completion of the first houses is scheduled for summer 2028.
Attractive Living Space and Features
Marius Scheuer, Project Manager at Bonava, emphasised that by developing the Petersbogen quarter on a previously derelict site, which formerly comprised vacant commercial halls, appealing living space is being created at an affordable price level. The specific costs for the houses, depending on the building type, range between EUR 429,900 and EUR 459,900. This positions the offerings below the regional average. Residents benefit from a quiet residential environment and efficient connections to surrounding cities.
Düren's geographical location between the metropolises of Aachen, Cologne, and Bonn makes the site particularly attractive for commuters and families. All residential units are conceptualised according to the Efficiency House Standard 55. The features include a photovoltaic system and a heat pump, which gives the houses an energy efficiency class of A+ and enables energy-efficient operation.
Infrastructure and Connectivity
The immediate vicinity of the quarter offers access to shopping facilities and a school. Düren city centre is quickly accessible. Furthermore, good transport links to the surrounding cities in the region are available via Düren station.
