Stuttgart-based CAVEO Pflegegruppe has acquired DEPW Holding GmbH, including all group companies. Through this transaction, the care company founded in 2021 consistently pursues its buy-and-build strategy and systematically expands its market presence in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. The acquisition was legally advised by Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, which provides continuous counsel to the company on M&A projects.
Since 2023, the Stuttgart-based CAVEO Group has recorded continuous growth through strategic acquisitions across the healthcare and care sector. With the current acquisition of DEPW Holding, the company broadens its service spectrum, particularly in the areas of outpatient care, day care and serviced living.
Expansion of capacities in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate
The acquired network of DEPW Holding encompasses a diversified operational infrastructure. The integrated units include five outpatient care services and two complementary care offices. Across these units, a total of 152 employees currently look after 626 patients.
- —Five serviced living facilities with a total of 267 apartments
- —One day care facility with 15 care places
- —An in-house academy and the medical supply store HejApo
Alongside outpatient care capacities and specialised facilities, the acquisition primarily strengthens the residential portfolio. With their 267 residential units, the five acquired serviced living locations form a key pillar of the transaction, linking senior-friendly living spaces with established local care infrastructure.
Legal advice on buy-and-build strategy
