CBRE Group, a leading global company for commercial real estate services and investments, has published its results for the second quarter of the 2026 financial year. The reporting period concluded on 30 June 2026. The company shows a sustained positive development, which is reflected in various key performance indicators.
The group recorded a revenue increase of 16 percent to a total of 11.2 billion US dollars in the second quarter of 2026. Core earnings per share reached 1.56 US dollars; GAAP earnings per share were reported at 0.69 US dollars. The robust business segments, which show consistency in business, contributed significantly to this result with a 15 percent increase in revenue. Similarly, the transaction-dependent business segments showed a significant increase of 19 percent in revenue.
Operational Performance and Outlook
The company's operational strength is also evident in its cash flow. Over the last twelve months, CBRE generated nearly 1.4 billion US dollars from its operating activities. Free cash flow amounted to almost 1.7 billion US dollars over the same period. These figures underscore the group's solid financial foundation and its ability to generate funds organically.
Bob Sulentic, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBRE, commented on the results, noting that the strong momentum observed at the beginning of the year continued into the second quarter. He highlighted that core earnings per share rose by 30 percent during this period and revenue increased by 16 percent. Sulentic emphasised the strength across all business segments, with each segment — Advisory, Building Operations & Experience, Project Management and Real Estate Investments — increasing operating segment profit by more than 25 percent. This indicates a broad-based positive development not limited to individual areas.
In light of these results, the outlook for core earnings per share for the full year 2026 has been adjusted. The forecast was raised from the previous 7.60 to 7.80 US dollars to now 7.80 to 7.90 US dollars. This corresponds to a projected growth of 23 percent at the midpoint of the new range. Mr Sulentic stated that the strategy pursued has been successful; resources and investments are being channelled specifically into areas that drive current growth and secure the foundation for long-term growth.
