CGREAG held the topping-out ceremony for "Haus E" in the Plagwitzer Höfe in Leipzig on 30th June. This occasion marks the completion of the roof structure for the last residential building of the D17 new-build project in Limburgerstraße and represents an important milestone in the company's ongoing housing construction activities. The event served to acknowledge the achievements of the craftspeople and the participating companies, whose dedication enabled continuous construction in the economic conditions of recent years.

The D17 project is an integral part of the Plagwitzer Höfe quarter. The chosen location is characterised by a combination of urban infrastructure and a natural environment. Its immediate proximity to an established specialist retail centre and the short distance to Volkspark Kleinzschocher underscore the quality of the micro-location. These locational attributes contribute to the attractiveness of the quarter and support CGREAG's objective of creating attractive living spaces in sought-after metropolitan areas.

Details on Residential Design and Amenities

The modern multi-family dwelling, being constructed as part of the project, will comprise 105 privately financed residential units. The apartment sizes vary between 39 and 118 square metres, with layouts ranging from two to four rooms. This diversification allows for different housing needs to be accommodated. Each unit features private outdoor areas: the apartments are either equipped with a balcony or a loggia; ground-floor apartments also offer a terrace with a private garden plot.

In addition to the residential buildings, an underground car park will be constructed. This not only provides parking spaces for cars but also integrates sufficient capacity for bicycles. The completion of the units and subsequent leasing are scheduled for the beginning of 2027. With this project, CGREAG continues its course of revitalising areas and creating contemporary living space.

Quarter Development in Leipzig Plagwitz

The development of the D17 project in the Plagwitzer Höfe reflects the ongoing relevance of urban quarter developments. The symbiosis of living, local amenities, and access to green spaces contributes to the residents' quality of life and underscores the importance of well-conceived urban planning in growth regions. CGREAG hereby reaffirms its goal of completing developments aimed at creating lasting value.
