In the municipality of Wedemark, specifically in the Mellendorf district, Deutsche Reihenhaus AG is initiating a new construction project under the name “Friedrichshöhe”. The project involves the realisation of 16 terraced houses on a plot of approximately 3,800 square metres. Deutsche Reihenhaus AG acquired this land from the municipality of Wedemark.
The plans include the construction of two different house types. Ten units of the “120 m² Wohntraum” type are planned, complemented by six houses of the “145 m² Familienglück” type. Pricing for the “120 m² Wohntraum” type houses starts at EUR 349,990, including the plot. For the larger “145 m² Familienglück” type units, prices, also including the plot, start at EUR 389,990.
Location and regional significance
The affected area is located in the new development zone on Heinrich-Baumgarte-Ring. It is characterised by its natural setting directly on the edge of fields. The connection to Hanover is described as advantageous, qualifying the location for families and commuters. Carsten Rutz, CEO of Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, stated that with this first project in Wedemark, the company is focusing on providing affordable and sustainable housing for families in the Hanover hinterland. He emphasised the importance of the municipality, which offers quality of life and future prospects, and referred to the contribution to regional development in cooperation with the local authority.
The completion of the “Friedrichshöhe” district is planned by the end of 2027. Deutsche Reihenhaus AG, headquartered in Cologne, has an established presence in the Hanover region. In the past, various projects have already been realised in cities such as Hanover, Burgdorf and Laatzen. Currently, another project in Gehrden is in the implementation phase. This commitment underlines the company's continuous development activity in the greater Hanover area.
