Ehret+Klein AG is continuing the strategic realignment initiated four years ago. The company is focusing more strongly on the current demands of the real estate market. Key aspects of this development include the expansion of investment management and the deepening of service-oriented business areas along the entire value chain. This particularly involves asset management, property management and service development.

As part of this development, co-founder Michael Ehret will withdraw from the operational business of Ehret+Klein AG on 15 June 2026. He will remain with the company as a shareholder and will continue to support selected project companies as managing director. Together with Stefan Klein, Michael Ehret has significantly built up the company over the past two decades and was responsible for its project development activities.

CEO Sebastian Wasser, who will additionally take over Michael Ehret's responsibilities, thanked Mr Ehret for his entrepreneurial achievements and his contribution to the development of the group of companies. Samira Pichler will continue to be responsible for the development units as a board member. Michael Ehret expressed his confidence in the strategic direction and the management team, and wished the company success for the upcoming development phase.

Continuity and Capital Market Expertise in the Management Team

Ehret+Klein AG ensures operational and strategic continuity through the early extension of CEO Sebastian Wasser's contract for another three years. Together with COO Antje Lubitz and CDO Samira Pichler, Wasser will lead the further development of the group of companies. Co-founder Stefan Klein remains closely associated with the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

In parallel, Ehret+Klein AG is specifically strengthening its financial and capital market expertise within its management. Jörg Schürmann will join the Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in mid-June. His responsibilities will include financial control, the expansion of governance structures and the further professionalisation of the group of companies.

Sebastian Wasser emphasised that with Jörg Schürmann, they are gaining a financial specialist with over 25 years of experience in debt and equity financing as well as M&A. Mr Schürmann, with his expertise and strategic competence, will drive the next phase of transformation. Jörg Schürmann himself expressed his delight at being able to actively support the company's strategic development and highlighted Ehret+Klein's strong market position and development potential.
