European Science Park Group (ESPG), a real estate company specialising in science parks, is filling the position of Managing Director & Head of Asset & Portfolio Management. Mr. Marco Lüder is taking on this role and completing ESPG's leadership team.
With this appointment, ESPG AG is initiating a strategic reorientation of its Asset & Portfolio Management. The goal is the continued development of the existing science park portfolio. Mr. Lüder's expertise in this context is intended to support the company's growth strategy.
Mr. Lüder possesses many years of experience in the asset management of commercial properties. His professional career includes responsibility for large portfolios located nationwide. In this capacity, he acquired industry knowledge and leadership experience relevant to the strategic alignment of real estate assets. Prior to joining ESPG AG, he served as Managing Director at NAS Real Estate, where he was responsible for a nationwide portfolio, as well as one located in Denmark, with a volume exceeding EUR 1 billion. His task at ESPG AG will be the further development of Asset & Portfolio Management.
The new leadership team at ESPG AG now consists of Dr. Ralf Nöcker as CEO, Christian Fendel as Finance Director, who joined the company in June 2025, and Marco Lüder. According to Mr. Lüder, science parks offer both property management and the development of innovation-driven locations, which makes this segment particularly attractive. He expressed his willingness to familiarise himself with this area and to support ESPG AG in its development, in order to unlock the potential of the portfolios together with the team.
In his position, Marco Lüder will be responsible for the strategic further development of Asset & Portfolio Management. The expansion of the management team is also linked to the ambition of strengthening ESPG's position in the science park segment. Dr. Ralf Nöcker, CEO of ESPG AG, emphasised that with Marco Lüder, an experienced asset manager has been gained who possesses expertise in the strategic management of large and complex real estate portfolios. He expects Mr. Lüder to support the company in specifically developing the science parks further and continuing to offer tenants tailor-made spaces in attractive, innovation-driven environments. This measure underscores ESPG's commitment to optimising its market position and service offering.
