HIH Invest has completed the long-term extension of the lease agreement with Hauptzollamt Darmstadt for an office area of approximately 8,000 square metres in the "Atrium Office" property in Darmstadt. Hauptzollamt Darmstadt, which has been a long-standing existing tenant and the main user of the property, will continue its presence at the location. The property's address is Hilpertstraße 20a.
The five-storey office and administrative building comprises a total lettable area of around 13,500 square metres. A defining characteristic of the property is its green atrium, which provides natural daylight to the interior areas. The building structure allows for flexible floor plan designs, enabling various space concepts from individual and combi-offices to open-plan solutions.
Amenities and Location Quality
The amenities of the "Atrium Office" include, among other things, floor-to-ceiling windows, external sun protection, passenger lifts, a roof terrace, and additional storage areas. Furthermore, 176 underground parking spaces are available for users. These features contribute to the building's functionality and support the needs of a long-term tenant such as Hauptzollamt.
Markus Leuchte, Head of Letting Management Frankfurt at HIH Real Estate, commented on the contract extension. He emphasised that Hauptzollamt's renewed long-term decision for the "Atrium Office" confirms the building's quality and functionality. Likewise, the contract extension is a result of the trusting cooperation that has developed over many years. For long-term users, flexible space structures and good accessibility are essential factors, which the "Atrium Office" provides.
The "Atrium Office" is located in the Bürostadt West in the Darmstadt-West district, in immediate proximity to the federal road B 26. Darmstadt Central Station is accessible within a few minutes by bus or car. Good regional and supra-regional transport links are ensured via the A5 and A67 motorways. Frankfurt Airport can be reached in about 20 minutes by car, further highlighting the attractiveness of the location.
