Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH has achieved full occupancy of a property it developed and manages in Lensahn, Ostholstein district, Schleswig-Holstein. This was made possible by extending the existing lease agreement with the Kiel-based e-commerce company Dieseo. Dieseo, known for its shoe brand "Pammys", has leased an additional area of approximately 11,700 square metres. This means that the entire approximately 23,400 square metres of the property have been allocated to the company.
The logistics centre serves Dieseo for the storage and dispatch of its fashion items. The site is located approximately 50 kilometres north of Lübeck and benefits from direct access to the A 1 motorway, which connects the region with Hamburg, Bremen and the Ruhr area, and to the north with the Fehmarnsund Bridge. The completion of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel, which is expected to provide a direct supra-regional connection to Denmark from 2031, will further enhance the attractiveness of the location.
The new building in Lensahn consists of two almost equally sized units, one of which Dieseo already occupied in August of the previous year. Fatbardh Pakashtica, CEO of Dieseo, stated that the additional space creates the basis for the targeted growth to EUR 300 million in revenue and optimises logistics processes. He further emphasised that, through the partnership with Garbe Industrial, capacities can be adapted quickly and flexibly to the company's growth.
Sustainability and site quality
The fully leased property is certified according to the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), which confirms compliance with high environmental standards. Both contracting parties, Garbe Industrial and Dieseo, have agreed on an ESG lease, which includes specific regulations for the sustainable use and management of the property. The building's energy supply is fossil-free; heating is provided by a heat pump system. Furthermore, a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 2.9 Megawatt Peak is installed on the roof, contributing to the generation of renewable energy.
Tobias Roloff, Asset Manager at Garbe Industrial, highlighted the importance of the trusting cooperation with Dieseo and emphasised that the short-term provision of the still available space was crucial for the contract extension. He further explained that the full occupancy now achieved in Lensahn is an indicator of effective asset management and underlines the continued demand for high-quality properties in attractive locations.
Growth in the e-commerce sector
The tenant company Dieseo reports significant growth. According to its own figures, the "Pammys" brand has more than 1.5 million customers. In a 2025 ranking by Statista and Financial Times, the company was named Europe's fastest-growing e-commerce brand. This development underlines the need for adequate logistics infrastructure to scale online retail activities.
