Generali Real Estate S.p.A., part of Generali Investments, has announced the appointment of Yalcin Bozdag as Country Head for Germany. This new role complements his existing position as Country Head for Austria. As a result, Bozdag is now responsible for all business activities in Germany and Austria.

In this role, Mr Bozdag reports directly to Mr Aldo Mazzocco, CEO and General Manager of Generali Real Estate. Yalcin Bozdag succeeds Lukas Jeckel, who will now exclusively concentrate on his overarching role as Global Head of Asset & Property Management at Generali Real Estate. Mr Jeckel had headed the Central and Northern Europe region since 2019 and was appointed Global Head of Asset & Property Management in April 2024.

Yalcin Bozdag brings over 30 years of extensive industry experience in the real estate sector. His career is marked by a comprehensive track record in managing substantial property portfolios across diverse segments. This includes office, retail, hotel and residential properties.
His involvement with Generali Real Estate began in 2006 when he took charge of portfolio management and leasing for Germany. In 2023, he was appointed head of the company's Austrian branch. Mr Bozdag holds a degree in Business Administration and is also a recognised member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), which underpins his qualifications and expertise in the real estate sector.
