Peter Gross Bau has laid the foundation stone for the "sleepwell living" residential quarter in Hattersheim am Main. The project involves the construction of three multi-family houses, which will contain a total of 124 condominiums and a shared underground car park. The developer Krieger + Schramm is the client for this project. The investment volume for the construction measures is estimated at approximately 20 million EUR. The completion of the quarter is scheduled for February 2028.
The planned condominiums feature floor plans with two to four rooms. The living areas vary between approximately 38 and 137 square metres. This variety of sizes makes it possible to appeal to different target groups, from individuals to couples and families. The location in the Rhine-Main region fosters high demand for modern living space, as emphasised by Ingo Ciesielski, Peter Gross Bau's branch manager for the Rhine-Main region. The project in Hattersheim offers a wide range of apartment sizes in a conveniently located area between the metropolitan cities of Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. Mr Ciesielski underscored the relevance of expertise in building construction for the successful implementation of the project.
Sustainability and efficiency as planning maxims
The construction industry bears significant social responsibility. Adherence to ecological, economic and socio-societal sustainability criteria enables a positive influence on the built environment and creates social added value. This goal is consistently pursued in the development of the "sleepwell living" quarter as well.
A central aspect of the quarter's planning is energy efficiency. The three multi-family houses will be built to the KfW-40 Efficiency House standard, which ensures high energy efficiency. Additionally, the project aims for certification according to the Sustainable Building Quality Seal (QNG). This measure underscores the focus on ecological standards and future-proof construction.
Location advantages and target group appeal
The municipality of Hattersheim am Main is centrally positioned in the Rhine-Main region, between Frankfurt am Main and Wiesbaden. This geographical location and good connectivity to the surrounding economic centres make the site particularly suitable for commuters. By conceptually considering different apartment sizes, the quarter targets diverse living and household arrangements, which increases its market appeal.
