The Hohental Gruppe, a company specialising in new builds and energy-efficient residential quarters, has taken over a residential construction project in Osnabrück's Landwehrviertel. This acquisition ensures the swift completion of the venture, which comprises 59 residential units for rent. The project is thus being positioned for institutional investors and family offices.

The construction project in question is located at Glasgowring 1–12 and Bristolring 2–74 in Osnabrück (postcode 49076). It includes a total of 49 terraced houses and 10 semi-detached houses. The total living space of the units being developed amounts to approximately 8,300 square metres. Construction work, which had previously been interrupted, will now continue as planned. Completion is scheduled in three construction phases. The first tenants are expected to move in by the turn of the year 2026/2027.

Before and during the project takeover, a comprehensive analysis of the existing state of construction was carried out. This was performed by internal and external experts. The construction phases that have already commenced will be systematically continued and technically qualified. The aim is not only to complete the project but also to further develop it qualitatively and sustainably.

  • 49 terraced houses and 10 semi-detached houses
  • Living areas between 130 and 155 square metres
  • Plot sizes from 272 to 495 square metres
  • Connection to the district's own local heating network

Jens Wadle, Managing Partner of Hohental Plan- und Generalbau GmbH, commented on the acquisition. He sees great potential in the project, both due to its location with comprehensive local amenities and green spaces, and the architectural quality of the buildings and outdoor facilities. Following intensive review, the decision was made to complete high-quality and urgently needed housing. The company's aspiration is to offer families a home with their own garden, and buyers and investors a product that retains its value long-term in a dynamically growing urban district.

The project is part of the Landwehrviertel, which represents Osnabrück's largest new development area since the end of the Second World War. On the former site of the British armed forces, a modern quarter is emerging with over 800 housing units, extensive green spaces and contemporary infrastructure. The planned houses each feature a parking space, private garden areas, and roof terraces. All buildings will be connected to the district's own local heating network, ensuring a sustainable energy concept.
