The preliminary business figures for the Hypoport Group for the second quarter and the first half of 2026 were recently evaluated. This analysis shows positive development across all segments, which is reflected in an improved gross profit and a significant increase in EBIT. The results are based on the recent board meeting and provide an indicative forecast for the final publication of the half-year figures.
For the Group as a whole, a gross profit of EUR 67 million was projected for the second quarter of 2026, compared to EUR 64 million in the same quarter last year. In the first half of 2026, the Group's gross profit reached EUR 138 million, up from EUR 130 million in the first half of 2025. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to EUR 7.3 million in the second quarter, in line with EUR 7.4 million in the direct year-on-year comparison. Cumulatively for the first half-year, EBIT was EUR 19.3 million, representing a significant increase compared to EUR 16.0 million in the previous year.
The Real Estate & Mortgage Platforms segment, which is important for the real estate sector, also showed positive development. Here, a gross profit of EUR 42 million was achieved in the second quarter of 2026 (Q2/25: EUR 40 million) and EUR 85 million in the first half of 2026 (H1/25: EUR 81 million). The EBIT for this segment was EUR 10.2 million in the second quarter, matching the level of the previous year's quarter, and increased in the first half-year from EUR 22.9 million to EUR 23.9 million.
The Financing Platforms and Insurance Platforms segments also contributed to the positive overall development. Financing Platforms recorded a gross profit of EUR 17 million in the second quarter of 2026 (Q2/25: EUR 16 million) and EUR 34 million in the first half of 2026 (H1/25: EUR 33 million). The EBIT for this segment was EUR 0.3 million in the second quarter of 2026 and increased in the first half-year from EUR 1.8 million to EUR 2.4 million.
Within the Insurance Platforms segment, gross profit amounted to EUR 8 million in the second quarter of 2026 and EUR 17 million in the first half of 2026, compared to EUR 8 million and EUR 16 million respectively in the corresponding prior-year periods. The EBIT for this segment reached EUR 0.5 million in the second quarter of 2026, a significant increase from EUR -0.5 million in the previous year, and improved in the first half-year from EUR -0.3 million to EUR 1.1 million.
The reported preliminary figures underscore the solid business development of the Hypoport Group in the first half of 2026.
