The independent company IMAXXAM, which specialises in real estate investment management, is strengthening its management board. At the turn of the year, Max Gutsche will co-lead the strategic and operational development of the company. He joins Christoph Geißler and Markus Dokter on the executive board. With this expansion, IMAXXAM gains an experienced manager who brings expertise at the interface of strategy, client needs and organisational development.
Strategic development and scaling of the organisation
In recent years, IMAXXAM has positioned itself as an integrated partner for institutional real estate investors. The business model encompasses investment, portfolio, and asset management, as well as further services along the real estate value chain. Building on this established structure, the targeted further development of the business model and the continued institutionalisation of the organisation are planned. Key priorities for the future direction include expanding the business through a broader investor base, scaling the organisation, implementing efficient and sustainable control structures, and robust governance.
Christoph Geißler, Managing Director of IMAXXAM, commented on the appointment, stating that IMAXXAM possesses an advantageous starting position and a business model with considerable development potential. He emphasised that the management board would be strengthened in the areas of strategy, organisation, and sales experience through Max Gutsche. The collaboration aims to drive IMAXXAM's next phase of development.
Max Gutsche's experience
Max Gutsche has many years of expertise in asset servicing, sales, and the development of commercial and corporate strategies. Prior to joining IMAXXAM, Mr. Gutsche spent eight years at Universal Investment. His last position there was Group Head of Sales & Relationship Management Enablement & Commercial Strategy. Before that, as Head of Business Development Private Markets, he was responsible for new client acquisition. In his previous roles, he was, among other things, responsible for the further development of strategic initiatives, sales management, and the expansion of organisational structures, and acted as a link between commercial and corporate strategy.
Max Gutsche highlighted that the long-term development of IMAXXAM into an efficient and scalable asset management platform is a priority. He underscored the necessity of combining growth and entrepreneurial dynamism with a clear understanding of evolving client needs, efficient management, and strong governance. A central concern is to position IMAXXAM so that the organisation remains efficient and agile even with continued growth, while consistently taking client needs into account.
The expanded management board, consisting of Christoph Geißler, Markus Dokter, and Max Gutsche, thus lays the foundation for IMAXXAM's upcoming development phase. The focus is on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term platform development.
