Dal Moros Fresh Pasta to Go, a fast-casual restaurant chain founded in Venice, Italy, has signed a lease for 1,100 square feet at 421 Seventh Avenue. This marks the brand's first New York City location, as Commercial Observer has learned. The opening in the heart of Manhattan is scheduled for this autumn and will expand the retail and dining offerings in the Penn District.

Dal Moros' concept is based on fresh, artisanal pasta served in convenient to-go boxes. The chain already has locations in the USA, specifically in Massachusetts and Florida, but the new Midtown branch represents its initial market entry into the metropolis of New York. The international expansion underscores the success of the fast-paced pasta concept.

Dal Moros was represented in the lease by Albert J. Manopla and Elliot R. Elo of KSR. The landlord, AAG Management, was represented by its in-house department. Manopla and Elo highlighted in a joint statement that the Penn District continues to attract premium retail and dining concepts seeking unparalleled visibility and connectivity. They described Dal Moros Fresh Pasta To Go as an exciting international brand and emphasised that this location offers an excellent platform for the chain's first New York presence.

The exact rent and the lease term were not publicly disclosed. According to data from the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the average asking rent for retail spaces in the Penn District in the first half of 2026 was $412 per square foot. REBNY noted in its report on the district that the Penn District is a clear example of a corridor being redefined, with its retail identity evolving into a more destination and experience-oriented mix.

The building at 421 Seventh Avenue, also known as the Sports Plaza Building, was constructed in 1925. It is a 15-storey commercial and office building at the corner of West 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue, opposite Pennsylvania Station and Madison Square Garden. This prominent location promises Dal Moros a high frequency of passers-by and excellent accessibility.
