JLL Germany's Asset Management department is undergoing a change in leadership. Bettina Meckel has been appointed Lead Director, thereby taking over the management of this business unit. She succeeds Alexandra Meyder-Cyrus, who is leaving the company at her own request after six years. In her new role, Ms Meckel will report directly to Katie Hynard, Global Lead, Asset Management Services, as her predecessor did.
Bettina Meckel possesses extensive professional experience of approximately 25 years in asset and portfolio management. Her career at JLL began in 2007. Since 2019, she has served as Senior Team Leader Asset Management. During this period, the qualified real estate economist supported national and international clients and provided comprehensive asset management services. A specific focus was on supporting companies from the financial sector.
Comprehensive Expertise and Mandate Management
For about ten years, Ms Meckel has been responsible for asset management at JLL for a major German fund company. This mandate has been progressively expanded and currently includes the management of approximately 59 mixed-use properties. The managed area amounts to around 200,000 square metres. This continuous expansion of the mandate underscores her competence and the trust placed in her expertise.
