The renowned law firm Greenberg Traurig will be moving from its current location within Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. The company has signed a ten-year lease for approximately 25,000 square feet in the 15 CityPlace office building, which is still under construction. The tenant announced this.
The new leased space comprises the entire 12th floor of the 25-storey project. The relocation is planned for autumn 2027. Tracy Gerber, Co-Managing Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s West Palm Beach office, explained that the move reflects the firm’s long-term commitment to the West Palm Beach market and positions it to meet the increasing client demand in Palm Beach County and beyond.
15 CityPlace and the neighbouring 10 CityPlace are expected to be completed next year. Developer Related Ross previously secured a construction loan package of US$772 million last year. The new 15 CityPlace building will have a total area of approximately 500,000 square feet. Healthcare provider Cleveland Clinic has already pre-leased 125,000 square feet in 15 CityPlace.
Currently, the law firm Greenberg Traurig is located in Philips Point, where it leases approximately 30,000 square feet. Related Ross, led by Stephen Ross, acquired the 448,914 square foot office property in 2021 for US$282 million. The two-building complex, whose origins date back to 1985, is currently undergoing a US$120 million renovation.
Even though Greenberg Traurig is leaving the building, new tenants have been secured. Global index provider MSCI has leased 7,500 square feet, investment bank Solomon Partners 4,200 square feet, and Integrity Pro Consulting 1,300 square feet.
