BNP Paribas Real Estate has announced adjustments to the leadership structure of its European advisory business as part of its pan-European growth strategy. These measures are intended to consolidate advisory activities at a European level, enhance cross-country cooperation, and foster sustainable growth. Laurent Boucher, Deputy CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate with responsibility for European Advisory business and CEO of Advisory France, will retire on 31 December 2026 after nearly forty years with the company. He has played a key role in the development and European expansion of advisory activities and, as a member of the Executive Board, has helped shape the company's strategic direction.

The Executive Board recognised Mr Boucher's commitment and his decisive contribution to the company's success. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr Boucher will continue to serve as CEO of Advisory France and a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Executive Board until 31 December 2026.

New Appointments to Key Positions

Effective 15 September 2026, Marcus Zorn has been appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory. He will retain his current roles as a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Executive Board and as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Germany. This appointment is based on the continued development of a pan-European advisory platform for the company's clients. Mr Zorn will continue the existing course, drawing on his knowledge of European markets and his leadership experience in one of Europe's largest real estate markets. His focus will be on facilitating clients' access to the full range of BNP Paribas Real Estate's services in Europe.

Marcus Zorn stated that the quality of the teams and the breadth of expertise across Europe represent unique strengths in client support. He considered it an honour to build upon the work already done. His priority would be to strengthen synergies between countries and provide clients with optimised access to BNP Paribas Real Estate's expertise to enhance the performance of their projects.

Furthermore, Brice de Germay will succeed Laurent Boucher as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France, effective 1 January 2027. Mr de Germay has served as Deputy CEO of the same unit since January of the current year. This appointment ensures continuous, high-quality client care in the French market, based on a deep understanding of real estate issues as well as the relevant investors and occupiers that make France the company's leading advisory market. Laurent Boucher expressed great confidence in the future and the conviction that the teams under Brice de Germay's leadership will continue to benefit from expertise at the highest level.

Jean-Maxime Jouis, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate, summarised that the changes in leadership reflect the ambition to offer clients across Europe increasingly integrated support. This support combines the local proximity of the teams with the depth of the service offering and the strength of the pan-European network. Marcus Zorn and Brice de Germay, through their complementary experience and competencies, will play a central role in strengthening the advisory business.
