Lübke Kelber Investment Partners GmbH (LKIP) has strengthened its acquisition team with Benno Fischer as Head of Acquisition, effective September. Fischer, a long-standing employee of the Lübke Kelber Group, previously served as Head of Brokerage in Berlin and now moves into Investment Management. In his new role, he will drive the expansion of acquisition and sourcing activities. This is intended to support the implementation of existing and new mandates with international investors.
LKIP acts as an Investment and Operating Partner for institutional and international investors seeking direct access to the German real estate market. The focus is on specialised strategies in the German residential real estate market, with a clear emphasis on value creation. LKIP supports the entire investment cycle, encompassing sourcing, underwriting and transaction structuring, extending through asset and property management, and reaching to the implementation of the respective exit strategy. Lübke Kelber AG currently manages over 4,000 residential units for international investors in asset and property management.
Strategic Expansion and Competence Enhancement
The group's platform is to be further developed with existing capital partners and through additional institutional mandates. A key component of this strategy is the continued expansion of deal sourcing and access to off-market transactions. With his experience in brokerage and on the owner side, as well as his access to institutional and semi-professional portfolios, Benno Fischer will provide significant impetus for the development of this area and will be responsible for it.
Dr. Karsten Lieser, Board Member (CIO) of Lübke Kelber AG, commented on the appointment. He emphasised that they were pleased with the trust of investors, with whom the next growth steps of the platform would be realised. Lieser highlighted that with Benno Fischer, they were gaining an experienced colleague who possessed comprehensive knowledge of the German, and particularly the Berlin, residential real estate market and had an established network. His role will therefore be central to expanding access to attractive investment opportunities.
Dr. Lieser added that the task was to identify attractive investment opportunities for partners and to successfully implement them throughout the entire investment cycle. They saw themselves not only as an investment manager but also as a local operating partner responsible for implementing the business plan. The personnel reinforcement is therefore an integral part of Lübke Kelber AG's overarching growth strategy.
In addition to expanding the privatisation and investment business, the goal is to further enlarge the asset and property management platform. International investors are to be offered an integrated platform for investments in the German residential real estate market, while simultaneously acquiring additional institutional mandates for the group. Through the integration of Benno Fischer and the further strengthening of the operational platform, the Lübke Kelber Group is consistently continuing its growth trajectory in the German residential real estate market.
