Mähren GmbH has sold a portfolio of six existing residential properties, located in a central area of Berlin, to the Swedish company CA Fastigheter Aktiebolag. The agreed purchase price for this transaction amounts to 22 million Euros. An adjustment to the purchase price is possible under certain conditions, particularly in the event of a positive development in a further project. The handover of the properties is scheduled for autumn 2026.
The sold portfolio comprises an existing area of approximately 9,300 square metres. Additionally, development potential of about 1,400 square metres is integrated into the transaction. This sale represents a strategic step for Mähren to strengthen its focus on core business in Berlin and to free up liquidity for further investments.
Strategic Realignment and Reinvestment
Mähren CEO, Jakob Mähren, explained the company's strategic direction following this transaction. Mähren is consistently focusing on the acquisition, development, and privatisation of multi-family houses in Berlin. The liquidity generated by the successful sale will be immediately reinvested in the acquisition of further divided residential buildings in the capital.
The company intends to consistently expand the acquisition of suitable division properties and the privatisation business in Berlin in the coming months. This concentration on the core business enables Mähren to strengthen its market position in its specialised segment.
Long-term Partnership with CA Fastigheter
With CA Fastigheter, Mähren has found a buyer who takes a long-term perspective and strategically evaluates the Berlin residential market positively. Jakob Mähren expressed his pleasure at the completion of the transaction and described CA Fastigheter as a strategic partner for the existing properties. This partnership underlines the trust of both parties in the Berlin real estate market.
