The Berlin-based PropTech company Architrave has announced a significant personnel decision: Marco Gollman has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Managing Director. Gollman commenced his new position on 1 August 2026. This appointment marks Gollman's return to Architrave, where he previously worked in the finance department from 2022 to 2024. His re-engagement is in an expanded leadership role, encompassing the company's financial strategy and operational management.
The re-filling of the CFO position follows the amicable departure of Rainer Ohst, who previously held this role. Through his prior activity at Architrave, Marco Gollman brings a detailed understanding of the company, its business model, and the specific market segment. This knowledge is expected to enable a smooth transition and a rapid immersion into his new responsibilities.
Maurice Grassau, CEO of Architrave, commented on the personnel decision, emphasising the importance of Gollman's experience. He highlighted that Gollman knows Architrave, its business model, and the market first-hand. This familiarity is crucial for a quick start, especially as the company is in a phase where growth and profitability are being consistently driven forward. The choice therefore fell on a person already familiar with the internal structures and external market conditions.
Marco Gollman's return underlines Architrave's endeavour to rely on proven expertise. In a growing technology company, the CFO position is central to managing financial resources, developing growth strategies, and ensuring profitability. Gollman's previous experience in the company's finance department qualifies him for these tasks and is intended to support the further development of the PropTech company.
