MEAG has announced the appointment of René Zeidan as Head of Distribution for the German-speaking region. This personnel change will become effective on 1 July 2026. In his new role, René Zeidan will be responsible for MEAG's entire institutional client business in the DACH region. He will report directly to Heiko Wunderlich, Managing Director Institutional Clients.
The strengthening of the team underscores MEAG's strategic objective to expand its presence and activities in the field of institutional investments. Background Experience
René Zeidan brings extensive and long-standing experience from the international financial industry. His professional career is characterised by a specialisation in institutional sales and strategic market development. Before joining MEAG, he worked at MetLife Investment Management, where he held the position of Head of Germany & Austria – Institutional Client Group. This indicates a profound knowledge of the markets and the requirements of institutional investors.
Previously, René Zeidan held various sales roles at renowned companies in the asset management industry. These include positions at Allianz Global Investors and MainFirst Asset Management. These engagements highlight his expertise in managing complex investment strategies and building client relationships in the institutional sector. His professional career reflects a consistent specialisation in the needs and structures of institutional investors, which represents a strategic advantage for MEAG.
