Actor Michael B. Jordan's former Hollywood Hills estate has been re-listed for $14 million following an extensive interior renovation by the current owners. Jordan had acquired the secluded property in an off-market deal in 2019 for $5.8 million from model and television presenter Daisy Fuentes, before selling it in 2022 for $6.95 million. The current owners, founders of the design and development studio Ome Dezin, have since redesigned much of the nearly 460 square metre residence, building upon the original 1997 design by architect Jeffrey Mills.
Located behind gates on an over one-acre plot in Upper Nichols Canyon, the estate presents an architectural fusion of Californian modernism, brutalism, and European farmhouse style. The listing information is handled by Charles Derenne, Silke Fernald, and Dominque Madden of the ACME team at Serhant.
Features and Design Elements
Inside the former Jordan residence, the great hall opens up under exposed wooden beams just a short corridor from the entrance. A fireplace is integrated into one side of the room. Curved sofas and low tables fill the central area, while a series of glass doors on the opposite wall provide direct access to the swimming pool and surrounding gardens. A screening room in one corner of the house also functions as a library. It is fitted with warm wood panelling on the walls and illuminated bookshelves. A television is mounted on the wall opposite a built-in L-shaped sofa.
The formal dining area, complementing the great hall's spaces, accommodates a round table beneath a low-hanging chandelier of bundled white glass bulbs. Large-format artworks adorn the adjacent wall. At the back wall, a built-in bar features open mirrored cabinets above wooden storage cabinets for drinks preparation. In the adjoining kitchen, the space is organised around a large central island, with wooden cabinets and green stone countertops on both sides. To the left of the island is a La Cornue range under a wide metal hood, while to the right, a sink is placed under upper glass cabinets. A professional pizza oven with stacked firewood beneath completes the kitchen amenities before doors lead to an al fresco dining terrace.
Private Suites and Outdoor Areas
Upstairs, the main suite opens up under a high, beamed ceiling. The room's windows frame the fireplace wall. In the corner of the room, glass doors lead to a private terrace overlooking the pool. From there, the suite continues into a dressing room with illuminated display shelves before transitioning into the bright bathroom. Here, green marble dominates almost entirely, starting with two vanities flanking the entrance to the dressing room. A freestanding bathtub is situated in front of the glass shower enclosure, both clad in the same green marble.
The house's three remaining bedrooms are each designed as self-contained suites, featuring an en-suite bathroom, dedicated wardrobe space, and direct outdoor access. This includes the 'Sunflower Suite', the 'Neutral Suite' upstairs, and a ground-floor guest suite, which also boasts a fireplace and glass doors to the garden. The design of these bathrooms varies between white and dark green marble.
Outdoors, the house opens onto a terrace surrounded by tall trees and tropical landscaping, with the swimming pool opposite the outdoor kitchen. On one side of the terrace is the fire pit lounge, while on the opposite side, an elevated hot tub sits directly adjacent to the pool deck. Beyond that, a mirrored sauna is integrated into the landscape. The property continues with a series of terraces and garden areas that meander through the estate. Following the sale of this house, Jordan acquired a property for $12.5 million in Encino and is said to have spent an additional $500,000 on its modernisation.
