The FKG continues to be available as a reliable instrument, with the existing funding pillars linked to the BEG remaining unchanged.
Only the maximum eligible costs within the framework of the BEG have been redefined. The FKG refers to these adjusted cost limits for its funding. This particularly applies to measures such as heating system replacement and achieving the EH renovation standard. For these areas too, the principle of 'application before order' still applies. This specifically means that the FKG application must be submitted before concluding a contract for the BEG-funded measure.
Preparation of Projects Without Jeopardising Funding Entitlement
To accommodate owners and enable adequate project preparation, the option of concluding contracts with a suspensive or resolutory condition still exists. This condition is tied to the funding commitments from BEG and FKG. In this way, projects can be prepared and planned without the entitlement to financial support being jeopardised. All other funding items that fall under the FKG and are not directly linked to the BEG cost limits remain unaffected by the recent adjustments.
