The digital news organisation Semafor has concluded a lease for 12,000 square feet (approx. 1,115 m²) at 495 Broadway in SoHo, New York. This new establishment is located not far from Broome Street. This move represents a relocation for Semafor, which will move its premises approximately four blocks north from its previous headquarters at 394 Broadway. Christopher Okada of Okada & Company, who represented Semafor together with Ken Lerner, expressed satisfaction with the expansion. He highlighted the quality of the building and the landlord group's long-standing presence in the area.

The exact duration of the lease was not disclosed. The asking rent for the office space in SoHo was $100 per square foot. Dana Goldman and Brett Harvey from JLL represented the owner in this transaction. Statements from Semafor and JLL were not immediately available at the time of publication.
The building at 495 Broadway was completed in 1893 and is an eight-storey Art Nouveau building. It features 12 to 15-foot vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork, hardwood floors, and a rooftop terrace that provides additional space.
