edda Ismaili is Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Commercial Real Estate Banking at City National Bank. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, she has spent nearly two decades as a commercial real estate lender. As Regional Manager for Los Angeles and Affordable Housing, Ms. Ismaili oversees a team of nine originators with an existing portfolio valued at $3.5 billion and new originations exceeding $1 billion annually.

    Her team is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing commercial real estate loans across various asset classes, from construction to permanent debt. They also provide deposit and treasury management services to Commercial Real Estate clients. Notably, Ms. Ismaili launched the Bank's Affordable Housing Lending Initiative, financing over 400 units in its first year.

    Ms. Ismaili joined City National in 2010 as a Special Assets Manager before transitioning to Commercial Real Estate two years later. Prior to that, she worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and a large regional bank. She holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

    Ms. Ismaili has received recognition as a 2023 Leader of Influence in Banking by the Los Angeles Business Journal. She serves on several boards, including LA Family Housing and Holos Communities, and is involved with her children's school and sports programs through volunteering.
