    Close's modest 1892 brick house boasts three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a 2,316-square-foot layout that blends historic charm with modern conveniences. She purchased the property for $699,000 in 2016 and has since made it her own, enjoying the sunny backyard and porch where she can see the mountains and greet neighbors.

    But Close isn't stopping at just one home in Montana. She's working on plans to build a second property, a larger house that will serve as a family sanctuary and Zen farmhouse. "It's going to be my happy place," she said. The move to Montana was more than just a geographical shift – it marked a return to the things that ground Close, including her love of nature.

    "When I was little, I got solace in nature, and that has never changed," Close explained. Her goal is to create a lasting legacy for her daughter and future generations, and she feels incredibly lucky to have found a place where she can be with her family and have a piece of land outside of town.

    Close's transition to Big Sky Country came before the pandemic sparked similar moves among city dwellers nationwide. Despite embracing her peaceful Montana lifestyle, Close hasn't slowed down professionally – she stars in Netflix's "Back in Action" and is set to appear in Hulu's highly anticipated series "All's Fair."

    On a personal note, Close told Drew Barrymore that she hasn't pursued a romantic relationship since her 2015 breakup. When asked if she's open to love again, Close replied candidly, "I don't know. I'm very happy right now." For Close, Montana represents a fresh chapter in her life, filled with family, natural beauty, and the simple joys of home.
