A
ctor Jeremy Piven is putting his Hollywood Hills home on the market, seeking $9.5 million for the 6,000-square-foot property at 2008 Hercules Drive. The contemporary home, built in 1980, sits above Sunset Boulevard and features a motor court, infinity pool, fire pit, two-story glass conservatory, and city views. Piven paid $6.8 million for the property in 2017.
If sold at the asking price, Piven would make a profit after paying the City of Los Angeles' Measure ULA transfer tax of 4 percent, which would be approximately $380,000. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home is located on about a third of an acre and has been listed for rent in the past.
Recent sales in the area include a Paul McClean-designed home at 1424 Tanager Way, which sold for $10.3 million earlier this month, and a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion at 1800 Marcheeta Place that traded hands for $26.7 million just before the end of 2022.
