olantonio Inc. has completed a major renovation project at Agawam Village, a 94-unit affordable housing community in Ipswich, MA. The project was a partnership between Colantonio, the Ipswich Housing Authority (IHA), and Harborlight Homes, with architectural design by SV Design.

    The modernization effort upgraded seven two-story buildings, including four apartment-style layouts and three townhomes. Interior renovations featured new kitchens and bathrooms, as well as fire alarm systems, windows, siding, and roofing replacements. The team also improved the outdoor spaces with a new basketball court, upgraded benches, and expanded parking areas.

    To minimize disruptions for residents, Colantonio implemented a phased approach to construction. Despite working around occupied buildings, the project was completed several weeks ahead of schedule due to exceptional teamwork among all parties involved. According to George Willwerth, President of Colantonio Inc., "The collaboration on this project was key to its success."
