The M2G Art of the Mind gala, held on Nov. 6, 2025 at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall, marked the sixth year of the event. Real‑estate firm M2G Ventures raised over $500,000 for its Mental Health Initiative (MHI). The proceeds support the University of Texas Southwestern’s Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care in Tarrant County and the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation’s Summit for Research. More than 300 guests attended the Stockyards venue.
MHI, founded in 2019 by Jessica Miller Essl and Susan Miller after a personal loss to bipolar disorder, achieved 501(c)(3) status in 2022. Its mission is to transform how mental illness is diagnosed and treated, and it has already raised in excess of $2 million. “Our partners are leading institutions doing remarkable work, and these are long‑term collaborations,” Essl said in a release.
UT Southwestern’s depression research team delivers services and studies to children and young adults across North Texas, focusing on unipolar and bipolar depression. The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation convenes a yearly Summit for Research, bringing together 20 top suicidologists to shape the foundation’s programs. The 2024 Impact Report credits the summit with a 75 % drop in school‑related suicides among the foundation’s served communities.
M2G is known for weaving immersive art into its projects. For Art of the Mind, the firm partnered with local, regional, and national artists to commission fine art that was auctioned live. “The event’s impact grows each year because our community shows compassion, generosity, and a shared passion for change,” Essl added. “Art moves us, shared understanding inspires us, and collective support brings us closer to redefining mental illness treatment.”
Scholarship news: The Eosera Foundation awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Texas Christian University students who crafted a creative marketing campaign for Eosera Ear Wax MD. Assistant professor Jennifer D’Angelo guided the class through market research and campaign development. Six teams presented; NexGen Media’s proposal earned top marks. CEO Elyse Stoltz Dickerson praised the students’ inventive approach to a niche topic. The campaign promoted ear‑cleaning as part of self‑care, featuring street‑style videos, a TikTok “get‑ready‑with‑me” series, and plans for a podcast and interactive blog. This year marks the launch of the Eosera Foundation Ryan Headlee Scholarship, named after the CVS category manager who first championed the product in 2017.
