ealDesk.ai and Zum Rails have formed a partnership to provide Canadian real estate brokerages with an integrated solution for the entire transaction lifecycle. This collaboration combines Zum Rails' payment processing capabilities with RealDesk's real estate management platform.
The integrated offering aims to address the challenges of disconnected and manual payment processes faced by real estate brokerages, according to Marc Sykes, CEO and founder of RealDesk. By streamlining transactions, brokers can focus on growing their business and serving clients.
RealDesk's platform already provides digital solutions for contracts, reporting, agent/broker communication, and other aspects of the home buying and selling process. With Zum Rails' payment processing added, the platform will accelerate payments by up to 80% and enable real-time digital payment options.
Brokers can use the platform to request and process various transactions, including deposits, rental payments, agent commissions, brokerage fees, refunds, closing funds, and more. Zum Rails also provides risk management capabilities.
Miles Schwartz, CEO and co-founder of Zum Rails, noted that facilitating seamless payment processes is crucial for businesses but often creates unnecessary challenges. RealDesk's platform addresses these challenges for Canadian real estate brokerages.
The partnership comes as real estate firms recognize the importance of adopting modern payment solutions to maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. In February, Zum Rails raised $10.5 million CAD to expand its open banking/instant payments solution.
