Naomi Osaka sells LA mansion to Nick and Vanessa Lachey for $7.95M

A relationship is ending, and the keys are a symbol of surrender.

N
aomi Osaka has sold her Los Angeles home to Nick and Vanessa Lachey for $7.95 million, just three years after purchasing it from them for $6.3 million. The off-market transaction took place quietly, with the property listed at $8.295 million on the local multiple listings service.

During her ownership, Osaka undertook a significant renovation, transforming the interior and adding a separate structure housing a full gym and spa-like recovery suite. The fitness area features neon-lit motivational slogans, while the recovery space boasts a sauna, cold plunge, steam room, and massage table. Her signature bear-and-flower logo is embedded in the gym floor.

The Tarzana home spans nearly half an acre, featuring an outdoor pool, hot tub, and pickleball court. The main house encompasses approximately 7,000 square feet, with five bedrooms, views of the surrounding mountains, and an open kitchen with a dedicated dining island.

Osaka's renovation also included a billiards room and a primary suite with an ensuite bathroom. The property was originally purchased by the Lacheys in 2020 for about $5 million before being sold to Osaka in 2021. They recently listed another San Fernando Valley home, this time in nearby Encino, for $7.495 million.

Tarzana remains a sought-after enclave of golf courses, country clubs, and high-end housing, with a median sale price of $1.3 million in July. Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam champion, returned to professional play in January after giving birth to her daughter.
