S
am Seiler, a seasoned broker with over 13 years of experience at CBRE, recently joined the company after spending six years at JLL. He has successfully leased more than 10 million square feet of office space on behalf of both landlords and tenants, focusing primarily on financial services and tech companies. Seiler's impressive portfolio includes notable projects such as SL Green and Vornado's 280 Park Avenue, Boston Properties' 250 West 55th Street, Columbia Property Trust's 799 Broadway, and Rubenstein Partners' 25 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg.
In one of his most recent deals, Seiler represented proptech company VTS in a 34,000-square-foot sublease at 3 Bryant Park. This move marks a homecoming for Seiler, who previously spent 13 years at CBRE before moving to JLL in 2018.
Columbia Property Trust has secured its second tenant at 799 Broadway, further solidifying its position as a key player in Manhattan's real estate market. Meanwhile, Manhattan's office leasing has reached almost 21 million square feet this year through August, according to Colliers. With demand continuing at this pace, there's a strong possibility that the city could exceed 30 million square feet in leasing for the first time since 2019. Colliers' Franklin Wallach believes that this would be a significant milestone in Manhattan's recovery.
