asagrand, a Chennai-based real estate developer, is sending 1,000 employees on an all-expenses-paid trip to Barcelona, Spain as part of their "profit-share bonanza" scheme. The week-long trip aims to recognise and reward employees for contributing to the company's success. Employees from various roles, including executives and senior leadership, were selected based on their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
The programme is designed to acknowledge the efforts of those who played a key role in helping the company achieve its sales target for the previous financial year. During their time in Spain, employees will visit famous landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, as well as scenic locations like Montjuic Castle. They will also have the chance to explore the city's beaches and participate in cultural and recreational activities.
This is not the first time Casagrand has organised a trip for its employees. Since launching this programme in 2013, the company has taken employees to various global destinations, including Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Malaysia, and London. Even during the pandemic, the company continued this initiative, organising trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in 2021, and visiting Switzerland in 2022 and Australia in 2023.
By offering these experiences, Casagrand is making a "genuine investment" in its employees' personal and professional development, going beyond traditional rewards. The company believes that such initiatives help create a workplace where employees feel valued and appreciated for their efforts.
