ittery, Maine - CORE, a leading full-service commercial real estate company in Northern New England, has recently acquired a 24,000 square foot shopping center located at 360 US Route 1 in Kittery. This acquisition marks another successful deal for CORE's recently launched Acquisitions Division. The shopping center is home to several popular retailers including Brooks Bros., Talbots, and Sustenance Herbs, a local organic pet food store. The transaction was completed on August 22nd.
CORE's brokerage team, led by Frank Carr, will focus on filling three current vacancies in the shopping center, ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet each. The company is also committed to providing funds to assist qualified tenants in their buildout at the property.
Key renovations to the property are already underway thanks to CORE's fully integrated team, which includes an expert operations and management division. Dajana Derman, Director of Operations & Management at CORE, emphasized the company's commitment to meticulous property management. "Our team is dedicated to creating spaces that not only attract quality tenants but also foster long-term success," she said.
Planned improvements to the property include painting, resurfacing the parking area, and upgrading the existing HVAC system to make it more energy efficient. These improvements will ensure a welcoming environment for new local retailers and their customers.
