Cremorne mansion of TV personality Lisa Wilkinson fetches $23m interest

TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson and husband Peter FitzSimons face backlash over lucrative move.

M
edia personalities Lisa Wilkinson and Peter FitzSimons are downsizing from their Sydney home of 30 years, listing it for a staggering $23 million. The property, known as Ingleneuk, has been attracting attention online, with over 1,200 comments on social media since the announcement.

The couple purchased the five-bedroom Federation-style house in Cremorne in 1998 for just under $3 million and have owned it ever since. The property boasts an impressive 3214 sqm of land, a full-sized tennis court, heated pool, spa, cabana with a wet bar, and landscaped grounds.

Despite its coveted features, the couple's decision to sell has sparked a mixed reaction on social media, with some questioning their views on sustainability and others making sarcastic comments about their wealth. One commentator noted the hypocrisy of FitzSimons' reported views on Green policies given his large home size.

The property, which has been listed with BlackDiamondz agents Moniku Tu and Jad Khattar, is expected to sell for around $23 million. The couple's decision to downsize comes after their three children moved out, leaving the sprawling estate surplus to their needs.
