Cresa Appoints Tracey Luehring to Executive Role, Focusing on Strategic Acquisitions

Cresa Appoints Tracey Luehring as CFO, Bringing M&A Expertise to Commercial Real Estate Advisory Firm.

T
racey Luehring has joined Cresa, a commercial real estate advisory firm, as Chief Financial Officer. Her experience leading mergers and acquisitions will be crucial for the company's growth, particularly in the post-pandemic landscape where office landlords are seeking tenants to fill vacant spaces. As Cresa's brokers only represent tenants, their services are in high demand.

Luehring will play a key role in expanding the company through strategic acquisitions, including businesses that complement its existing offerings such as project management and consulting. With a presence in dozens of cities across the US and Canada, Cresa has recently acquired two project management companies and one commercial real estate firm, with several more deals in the works.

Luehring holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and brings extensive experience from her previous roles at CrossVue, Viking Cloud, JLL, and Aon. Notably, she oversaw a $4 billion portfolio sale to Blackstone while at Aon. Cresa appealed to Luehring due to its close-knit culture, which she believes provides a unique advantage for smaller brokerages looking to sell or partner with larger companies.
