mory University's Goizueta Business School has received a $5 million gift from alumnus Billy Harbert, a prominent figure in the construction and real estate industries. The donation will establish the BL Harbert Real Estate Center, which aims to capitalize on Atlanta's rapidly expanding real estate market. Harbert, chairman and CEO of BL Harbert International, has overseen numerous high-profile projects worldwide.

    The new center will enhance Goizueta's ability to educate future leaders in the industry and create a talent pipeline for top firms. It builds on nearly 20 years of real estate courses and initiatives at the school. A national search is underway for a professor to lead the program into its next era. The gift represents a significant milestone for Goizueta, according to Dean Gareth James, who expressed gratitude to Harbert for his generosity.
