The Crossroads Motel on historic Route 66, a key early‑season set that Hank Schrader dubbed “The Crystal Palace,” is listed for $3 million. Built in 1965, the family‑run motel has 31 rooms and is marketed as a redevelopment opportunity; it closed earlier this year after frequent fan visits.
The four‑bedroom ranch, 1,910 sq ft and 15 minutes from the motel, was owned by Joanne Quintana. She welcomed film crews initially but grew weary of crowds, famously spraying visitors with a hose. She listed the property for $3.99 million, a steep premium over Albuquerque’s median price of $360,000, and declared she was ready to move on.
