As the founder and bishop of the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (Universal Church of the Kingdom of God), Macedo's net worth is estimated at $1.8 billion, placing him among the world's elite.

    Macedo's neighbors in the Porsche Design Tower have included international celebrities like Lionel Messi and Colombian pop star Maluma. The tower's unique feature – car elevators that transport luxury vehicles directly into private condo garages – has made it a magnet for billionaires. However, Macedo's family may not be the only ones with ties to the U.S. real estate market. A property intelligence database suggests another Sunny Isles Beach condo worth $9.6 million is linked to the family.

    The Trinity Foundation, a nonprofit that investigates religious fraud, has long tracked Macedo's financial activities.
