loyd Mayweather Jr. is expanding his real estate portfolio in Miami Beach by partnering with the Nakash family and Eli Gindi to acquire a significant stake in the iconic Villa Casa Casuarina, formerly known as the Versace Mansion. The property, located at 1116 Ocean Drive, was purchased for an undisclosed price from Gindi, who had listed it for $150 million.

    Mayweather expressed his excitement about being part of this "important piece of real estate," praising Gindi and the Nakash family as "real estate royalty." The plan is to open up the estate to the public. The Nakash family, owners of Jordache Jeans, has a significant presence on Ocean Drive with at least six hotels.

    The property, built in 1930, spans three stories and 23,462 square feet on a 0.4-acre lot. Mayweather's investment group is being represented by Morris Missry of Wachtel Missry, while Ayal Frist of AlphaTech Real Estate Group is brokering the deal. The expected closing date is in the first quarter of next year.

    This acquisition marks another significant commercial real estate investment for Mayweather, who has reportedly earned $1.1 billion through his boxing career and business ventures. He recently sold his Miami Beach mansion on Palm Island for $22 million and listed his Las Vegas mansion for $12.5 million.
