ick Putprush, Co-Founder and Principal of Fulcrum Real Estate Partners, is retiring after a four-decade career in commercial real estate. With a diverse background spanning Exxon, First National Bank of Boston, Copley Real Estate Advisors, Grubb & Ellis, and Cushman & Wakefield, Putprush has been involved in over $1 billion in transactions and received the Greater Boston Real Estate Board's "Investment Sale of the Year" award in 2002.

    In 2014, Putprush partnered with Rob Kirschner to launch Fulcrum, bringing their institutional expertise to the mid-market investment space. The firm has become known for identifying value in underappreciated assets across New England through creative deal structuring and targeted asset strategies.

    "Rick's leadership, industry insight, and integrity have shaped our identity and direction," said Kirschner. "While I'm sad to see him retire, I'm honored to continue building on the foundation we created together." Putprush will remain available in a consulting capacity, supporting Fulcrum and its clients as needed.

    Reflecting on his career, Putprush expressed pride in what he and Kirschner built at Fulcrum. "We exceeded expectations across every investment, and I'm proud that our shared philosophy resonated with investors," he said. With Kirschner at the helm, Fulcrum will continue to focus on office, industrial, and mixed-use acquisitions and repositionings throughout the region.
