The ideal candidate combines traditional journalism skills with online and social media expertise. Our reporters create engaging content, including videos, slideshows, and multimedia components, while maintaining strong relationships with sources. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing a clear vision for our products' look, feel, and voice
* Reporting and writing short-form and long-form stories for the website and print edition
* Owning beats and digging out source-driven exclusives
* Relentlessly developing sources and managing relationships with high-level executives
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* 3+ years of reporting and writing experience in print and/or online
* Strong analytical, investigative-interviewing skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Proficient in MS Office products and web-based communication platforms
