T
he waterfront Miami Beach mansion of late Continental National Bank founders Fanny and Charles Dascal has secured a buyer for nearly $27 million. The estate, listed by Compass agent Gabriella Chariff, is a 14,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom property with two dens, eight and a half bathrooms, a pool, gym, spa, movie theater, and boat docks. It boasts 225 feet of waterfront frontage.
The sale tops the Eklund-Gomes report for the week of Sept. 16 to Sept. 22. Jacqueline Dascal Chariff, daughter of Fanny and Charles Dascal, is selling the property as a trustee. Her husband, Jonathan Chariff, CEO of South Motors Group, has ties to the real estate industry through his brother Lyle Chariff.
Eleven residential contracts were recorded in Miami-Dade County for properties asking $4 million or more, with an aggregate value exceeding $104 million. The top condo contract is unit 1006 at the Continuum South tower, listed by Douglas Elliman agents Dustin Nero and Bill Hernandez for $13.3 million. A trust managed by Jeffrey Mobley purchased this unit about a year ago for $11.5 million.
The average asking price of single-family homes that entered into contract last week was around $12 million, with an average time on the market of 117 days. The five luxury condos secured buyers at an average price of $6.6 million and $2,500 per square foot, spending 131 days on the market before entering into contract.
