ndustry experts in assisted living and senior housing will gather at the 12th annual "Assisted Living and Senior Housing Conference: Demand & Opportunities in New England" on February 27, 2025, at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Massachusetts. The conference is organized by the Boston Real Estate Times.
The growing demand for assisted living facilities in New England presents significant investment opportunities, according to Upendra Mishra, publisher of the Boston Real Estate Times. A report from Grand View Research notes that the US assisted living facility market size was valued at $91.8 billion in 2022 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 5.5 percent from 2023 to 2030.
The conference will feature four panelists: Wendy Nowokunski, President of Northbridge Companies; Tim DuRoss, Co-CEO of LCB Senior Living; Michael Gordon, Chief Investment Officer of EPOCH Senior Living; and Brian Doherty, President & CEO of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association. They will discuss topics such as market trends, design innovations, regulatory changes, public funding options, and opportunities for investment.
