    Atlanta-based Infinity Real Estate Partners has acquired an affordable housing portfolio with properties in North Carolina and South Carolina, backed by a $18.75 million investment from American South Capital Partners. Deborah La Franchi of ASCP says this investment will positively impact families' lives.

    The portfolio includes seven communities built between 1968 and 1973:

    * Boulder Creek Apartments – Greenville

    * Crescent Hill Apartments – Spartanburg

    * Spring Grove Apartments – Taylors

    * Roosevelt Gardens – Orangeburg

    * Cedar Moor Apartments – Raleigh, North Carolina

    * Timber Ridge – Charlotte, North Carolina

    * Brentwood Crossing – High Point, North Carolina

    Ninety-five percent of the communities are governed by HUD's housing assistance program. Infinity Real Estate's Gregory Jones says this acquisition marks a significant step in their commitment to affordable housing for 20 years.

    "This achievement wouldn't have been possible without American South Capital Partners' support," Jones said. "Together, we're ensuring these homes remain accessible to those who need them most."

    Renovations will include interior and exterior improvements, new security systems, and maintenance repairs. Once complete, all units will be affordable for those earning 60% or less of the area median income. Each property will also have a community coordinator through Mercy Housing, providing supplemental services for tenants.

    Infinity Real Estate Partners and American South Capital Partners are working together to strengthen communities through sustainable and equitable housing solutions.
