fter two decades of construction, Jackie Siegel's 90,000-square-foot Florida estate, dubbed Versailles, is finally nearing completion. The "Queen of Versailles" star shared a video update on Instagram, showcasing the latest progress on her and husband David Siegel's sprawling megamansion.
Despite opulent details like gold accents and chandeliers, the space remains a construction zone with scaffolding and workers actively making adjustments. Jackie Siegel announced that they're "getting closer to getting done," but acknowledged there's still work to be done.
The extravagant estate boasts 14 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, five kitchens, a 150-person dining hall, a British-style pub, and a 35-car garage. It even features a faux private jet interior where Jackie once planned to sip Champagne and eat caviar.
Construction on Versailles began in 2004 but was halted during the 2008 financial crisis when David's timeshare empire took a massive hit. The project resumed in 2013 after David's business recovered, but completion dates have shifted multiple times due to setbacks like Hurricane Ian in 2022, which caused an estimated $10 million in damage.
Despite these challenges, Jackie remains optimistic about finishing the estate, which is estimated to be worth over $100 million. With no official completion date in sight, Versailles will likely remain a work in progress until it's finally finished – and when that happens, it'll stand as the largest single-family home in the US.
